Picture yourself on the ledge of a cliff or at the top of a roller coaster ride, just about to descend, observe what is happening to your hands right now? I bet that if you are afraid of heights your palms began to moisten and sweat. Notice if your breathing became more shallow, and did you feel a lump in the back of your throat? Next think of a lemon. What did you just do with your lips? I bet your lips started to pucker and your mouth started to salivate. Why did this happen? Both of these suggestions show in a simplified version how the “mind-body” connection works. When we think of a lemon, or if we think of something that makes us happy, our body immediately responds to our mental thoughts and/or emotional feelings. First thing to recognize is that stress causes many health ailments that plague society today. The only reason why stress affects us, is due to the fact that we care. Are you curious in learning how a certain health condition such as low back pain could possibly be the manifestation of a challenging personal relationship, work stress, or financial worry? The magic in healing ourselves is the moment one recognizes what is causing dis-ease or lack of ease in one’s life. Know that body symptoms are our own innate body wisdom attempting to get us to pay attention to what is mentally/emotionally affecting us.

The purpose of the Infinite Body Awareness app, is to give people a resource to discover the mind-body correlations to particular health conditions that affect many people today. The app provides the presenting symptoms of the health conditions, common western medical treatments, the mind-body correlations, and action steps a person can take to address their particular health condition. The app also provides certain mind-body indicators such as what does nerve pain or muscle spasms represent on a mental/emotional level. Going further, explanations of body parts such as the head or feet to help one understand what current life challenges or transitions that are affecting them. Last but not least are the representations of the human body’s internal organs.

Also included in the app is a link to purchase my book, Infinite Body Wisdom, and by mid-June 2015 Infinite Body Awareness. Eventually the app will give people access to purchase video classes that I teach helping people establish a greater mind-body connection and become more empowered in their healing process.

The first step is for one to become aware and learn to accept whatever health ailment afflicts them. Next step is to recognize how that particular symptom is allowing one to stop, reflect on their current life, and decide what changes are needed to experience the life that one desires. The moment one sees how this health ailment is shedding light on one’s feelings and makes this connection, true healing can be achieved. Learn to trust and know your body’s signals. The more we learn to pay attention to the subtle signals, then the body doesn’t have to create major health crises! Just think how life could be if you made the necessary small adjustments from time to time instead of waiting for a major health crisis to occur? By paying heed to certain body signals in our lives, helps to keep us on course and being clear of what’s true for us and how we want to experience our lives.
